Shelburne Multi-family Housing
A 5 acre site in Shelburne is being developed with a series of townhouse style buildings. There are eleven buildings of four units each for a total of 44 units. The lot is zoned for a much higher density but the owners prefer to keep as much of the natural landscape as possible.
The units are simple two story volumes with a modern vibe catering to a variety of clientele from young professionals to retirees. The main floor contains the living spaces and the second floor has a master suite and two secondary bedrooms. The units are light filled with abundant glazing. The playful exteriors use vibrant splashes of color along with a neutral pallet to distinguish from the overwhelming abundance of faux colonial housing that permeates the landscape.
